SCAM ALERT ON THE JOB RECRUITMENT OF HAVAS GROUP VIETNAM

Havas Group Vietnam received reports that some subjects are using our names, logos, seal, tax code, address and forging the Company’s Enterprise Registration Certificate through Zalo and Telegram applications to lure the victim “fell into the trap”.

When people who are looking for a job contact them, they will impersonate our human resources staff and request the victim to perform tasks to get the job. Later on, they will use fake, edited and adjusted information, to make a “Commitment”, contract and promise attractive income. As a result, the victims mistakenly thought they were negotiating a job with Havas Group Vietnam.

Purpose of the subjects:

1. Illegally collecting digital data, personal data (résumé, ID card, bank account, phone number…). It is worth noting that the information may be used by subjects for illegal purposes, such as borrowing money on the app, and the subject may entice the victim to authenticate this loan.
2. Fraudulent appropriation of property through the following methods:
   1. Request the victim to transfer money or pay a deposit to complete taxes or get a job.
   2. Perform tasks (like, share, click, …) to receive attractive income and get a job.

Recommendation:

Each individual wishing to find a job should contact Havas Group Vietnam directly on the official channel and directly visit to the Company for confirmation to ensure safety.

Do not conduct financial transactions via the Telegram application.
