B’ Information Services in Vietnam
Looking to grow our development teams in Vietnam, B’ Information Services engages in a collaboration with Ekino Vietnam, part of Havas Group / Bolloré Group.
Our team in Ho Chi Minh City is specialized on Microsoft .Net technologies (ASP.Net MVC, Winforms, API, Azure, Xamarin, Knockout JS…), ESB platform (Webmethods, Java…) and deliver projects using Agile methodology.

Main tasks and activities
The Monitoring/Spunk Engineer is accountable for the monitoring and management of infrastructure, applications and data flows. Your responsibility includes but not limited to the development, configuration, deployment, and support of daily operating IT monitoring services.
- Collaborate in conjunction with support and business analyst teams to design and implement monitoring solutions for their infrastructure, applications, and data flows.
- Coordinate with other teams to effectively ensure the stability of operation systems and delivery of monitoring services.
- Build reliable & efficient queries, identify bad searches/dashboards and partner other members to improve performance.
- Create, customize, and manage dashboards, reports, alerts, etc.
- Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot problems to support the day-to-day operations.
- Execute operation activities following guidelines, procedure, process, and framework.
- Understand the monitoring indicators of applications and hands-on to resolve any abnormalities.
- Ability to write guidelines and operations documentation for maintaining the Splunk infrastructure.
- Handle incidents, support requests coming from other teams, as well as submitting incidents/requests to IT Ops, network team, etc.
Reporting line
- Direct Reporting to Data Exchange Team manager.
Educational background
- Graduate in Computer Science, Management Information System, System Administration or equivalent major.
Technical skills
- Have proven performance analysis, operation support and tuning experience for monitoring applications.
- Solid understanding of large-scale applications, network architectures, monitoring and fault management.
- Strong knowledge of data models, enrichment and automation.
- Strong understanding of Data Visualization, Reporting, Structured and Unstructured data
- Hands on experience in scripting languages, regular expressions, and query languages such as SQL, SPL, etc. to automate tasks and manipulate data.
- Knowledge of enterprise logging, including infrastructure/application level, operating system, security technology logging.
- Huge advantage to have experience as a Splunk developer with good knowledge about Splunk architecture and various components such as indexer, forwarder, search head, deployment server, heavy and universal forwarder.
